Countertop Installed

The countertop is a Dekton manufactured stone countertop which is scratch proof, heat proof, stain proof and incredibly dense. We can move pots of boiling water directly from the stove onto the counters without concern for causing damage. It is somewhat brittle and if you bang it too hard around the edges you could chip or crack it so at least some care is still advised. The installers broke several pieces while trying to get this in and delayed our project by over a month. They didn't seem to really like working with this stuff but it does offer some really great features if you can find somebody do it.
