Removing The Old Stuff

We found a habitat for humanity re-store that would pickup and remove all of our all old appliances and cabinets. Trying to remove these things ourselves would have been another major ordeal and we are very grateful to them for picking these things up. Maybe some of these things found a good home somewhere else.

Tearing it down

We removed two walls in the kitchen and pulled up the entire floor down to the joists.

The doors too

One of the sliding glass doors was installed backwards, and had been channelling rain water into the house for years. Wanting to make sure we didn't have the same situation again, we ripped out both sliding doors and installed new french doors instead.
