Floor plumbing and wiring
We re-ran the water lines from the utility room across the whole house. They were previously running along an exterior wall and were freezing in the coldest days of winter. We also pulled somewhere around 6 new circuts through the floor, including a 40 amp circuit for the oven. This was also a chance to properly wire the house with ethernet and coax, and approximately 2000 feet of cat6a were run through the joists and walls during this project.
The Walls
We were originally planning on leaving the walls in-tact but ultimately it was going to be significantly easier to just put new drywall up than patch the existing damage. The electrician probably appreciated having access to the studs too.
